PHP Interest Group [PHP3]

What's PHP?

PHP is a server-side, cross-platform, HTML embedded scripting language. If you are completely new to PHP and want to get some idea of how it works, have a look at the Introductory Tutorial from the official PHP web site. Once you get beyond that, have a look at the example archive sites and some of the other resources available in the Links section of that site.

What's PIG?

PIG, the PHP Interest Group, is an ICQ interest group. ICQ is an instant messaging program that lets you see who on your list is online, chat with them in real time, exchange file and web site addresses in real time, and send messages in real time. PIG was created to gather people who use PHP and ICQ so they can be sure to always have someone on ICQ they can turn to for help. This is especially useful if you have a deadline to meet with a client and can't wait for responses from a mailing list or Usenet.

Why not http://groups.icq.com... ?

Each ICQ interest group is provided with it's own page at ICQ's Interest Groups web site, but, IMO, the layout you have to use is horrendous and there's very little flexibility in it. So this site is located at GigaBee's server with the added bonus of being able to use PHP for this site, the language this interest group is for!
